Took a drive to meet my trainer/manager and took a little run along some paved trails just outside the Heights for a 3.4 mile, 25 minute loop. Got back to where we started and I continued on my own for 3.5 miles through the Heights. My favorite of the 2nd half of the run was coming across the crossing guards out to help the kiddos going to school. All of them waved and offered something just a little more than a simple "good morning." They offered their pleasantness (is that a word) and a "have a nice/great day" to go along with it. I liked that a lot.
These miles were something like 6:59, 6:58 and 7:02. I expected stomach issues, but none made their presence known, so all worked out well.
All felt good throughout. Did some pretty thorough stretching upon completion and headed on into work.
