I got a pretty good notion mid-way through this run that I needed for SURE to take my recovery days seriously. When I first got on the road, I was pleased with how my legs felt, but once I got to the park, and was cruising pretty well, my legs really felt the fatigue from the prior day's effort. The last couple of miles, my calves, more specifically, my Achilles were aching. I throttled it back and just tried to "shuffle" my way back home. I got home, stretched, and just took it easy with PB&J and a glass of milk.
